Can I walk on the M-Tray® green roof after installation?
The M-Tray® green roof is not designed for regular foot traffic. Occasional light access (for maintenance) is fine, but always walk carefully and use stepping boards if necessary to avoid damaging the vegetation.
How soon do the trays blend together visually?
The sedum plants are already well-established, so the trays start blending almost immediately after installation. Within a short time, the joins between trays become barely noticeable, forming a lush, continuous surface.
What happens if I need access to the roof deck later on?
One of the key benefits of the M-Tray® system is flexibility. Individual trays can be lifted out and replaced without disturbing the rest of the roof, making maintenance and inspections quick and simple.
