The Vaillant timeSWITCH 160 7 Day Plug-In Digital Programmer is designed to give you greater control over your central heating and hot water by allowing you to set timed programmes throughout the week. This digital programmer provides independent control of heating and hot water, helping you manage energy usage more efficiently while keeping your home comfortable. The timeSWITCH 160 plugs directly into the boiler fascia, making installation quick and straightforward with no complicated wiring required. It allows you to set up to three independent on/off periods per day, giving you flexibility to programme your heating and hot water around your daily routine. When used with Vaillant ecoFIT combination boilers and older ecoTEC models, the hot water programme can be used to control the AquaComfort hot water function. If used with a system or open vent boiler, an additional VR 65 control centre is required to provide timed control of the hot water cylinder. The programmer also includes useful features such as a central heating advance function and a holiday set-back function, allowing you to temporarily adjust your heating schedule without changing your main programme. Please note that an additional room thermostat (not the VRT 50) should be used to control the central heating temperature. This programmer is not compatible with the newer Vaillant ecoTEC Plus range.
