The
Shire Overlap 8x6ft Single Door Value Wooden Shed provides generous storage space for your garden essentials while maintaining a traditional, rustic look. Whether you need to store lawnmowers, tools, outdoor furniture, or seasonal items, its roomy interior and sturdy build make it a practical choice for any garden.
The shed is constructed from 6mm thick rough sawn timber boards, arranged in an overlapping style to help rainwater run off while giving it a classic shed appearance. The boards are mounted on a strong 34mm square framework for long-lasting stability. Its single door allows for easy entry while keeping the footprint compact and manageable.
As with all Shire sheds, this model is
crafted in the UK using slow-grown, high-quality timber that is machined in our own mill to ensure strength and durability. The panels are supplied with a dipped basecoat for initial protection, ready for your preferred preservative after assembly. The roof is made from 8mm OSB board, and the floor from a thicker 11mm OSB board, providing a solid base for all your storage needs.
You can choose this shed with or without a window, depending on whether you prefer more natural light inside or complete privacy for your stored items.

FAQs
Why choose overlap cladding?
Overlap cladding not only creates a charming, rustic style but also allows rainwater to run off easily, helping protect the structure from weather damage.
Can I get this shed with a window?
Yes. This model is available in two versions — with a window for extra light inside or without a window for maximum privacy and security.
Is the shed treated before delivery?
Yes. The panels are supplied with a dipped basecoat to protect the timber during transport and assembly. For ongoing protection, we recommend applying a good-quality wood preservative after construction.
