Samac Fixings Performance Wafer Head Structural Screws (Box of 50)
Samac Fixings Performance Wafer Head Structural Screws are specialist high-strength fixings designed for demanding structural applications. Featuring a Torx wafer head, these screws deliver excellent clamping force while maintaining a low-profile finish, making them ideal where strength and appearance both matter.
Finished with a natural brown ACQ corrosion-resistant coating, these structural screws are suitable for use in treated timbers and external environments. They are commonly used in landscaping, timber framing, decking structures, and other heavy-duty timber-to-timber connections.
Each box is supplied complete with a FREE Torx drill bit, ensuring correct installation straight out of the box.
High-Performance Design & Features
The wide wafer head design increases surface contact, providing superior load distribution and improved clamping compared to traditional countersunk screws. This helps create strong, secure connections without sinking too deeply into the timber.
A combination of a milling thread, partially serrated thread, and a Type 17 cut point allows for smoother driving, reduced torque, and less splitting — even when fixing close to timber edges. The Torx drive also minimises cam-out, allowing higher torque to be applied safely and efficiently.
