High-Performance Design & Features
These timber screws feature a reinforced double countersunk Pozi head, helping to reduce head breakage while allowing the screw to sit neatly flush with the timber surface. Self-countersinking ribs beneath the head improve finish quality without damaging the material.
The waxed zinc and yellow passivated finish offers improved corrosion resistance and significantly reduces torque during driving. A combination of milling threads and serrated threads allows the screw to cut cleanly into the timber, helping to prevent splitting and lowering installation effort.
A Type 17 cut point further enhances performance by reducing the need for pre-drilling, even when fixing close to the edge of timber.
