Like all natural limestone paving, Abbey will naturally weather over time. If you would prefer to retain more of the freshly laid colour, the paving can be sealed with Lithofin® Colour Intensifier, which can also help protect the stone from sun bleaching and unwanted colour changes.

Installation and Slurry Primer

For the best possible finish, a Slurry Primer is recommended on the underside of the paving slabs before installation. This helps reduce the risk of salt staining migrating from the base mortar into the natural stone. The calibrated sawn edges also make close jointing possible, giving you greater control over the final appearance of your patio.
