Flexible Stone Tile Design

Unlike many natural stone floors, there is no need for regular sealing, making these tiles a convenient option for everyday interiors.

The tiles can be installed in several different layouts depending on the look you want to achieve. Use Luvanto Design Strips between the tiles to create defined grout-style lines, or lay them without strips for a cleaner finish. They can also be straight-laid or brick-bonded to add further visual interest.

Durable and Waterproof LVT

These tiles have a 2.5mm overall thickness and a 0.55mm wear layer, with a PU surface treatment designed to provide dependable everyday performance. They are rated Class 23 for heavy domestic use and Class 33 for heavy commercial use, making them suitable for busy residential and commercial environments.

The 100% waterproof construction makes them especially practical for kitchens, bathrooms and hallways where spills and moisture can be a concern. They also feature an R10 slip resistance rating, Bfl-S1 fire rating and A+ VOC emission rating.

Suitable for Underfloor Heating

Luvanto Design tiles are suitable for use with underfloor heating systems, up to a maximum floor surface temperature of 27°C. Their thermal resistance of 0.0112 m²K/W allows heat to transfer efficiently through the flooring when installed correctly.

Professional Installation

Luvanto Design is a glue-down flooring system and should be professionally installed to BS8203 using Luvanto Universal or High Temperature Adhesive. Before installation, the subfloor should be smooth, clean, dry and flat to within 3mm over 2m, with moisture below 75% RH. This will generally require suitable preparation such as primer and smoothing compound, while timber floors should be overlaid with plywood.

The tiles should be unpacked and stacked flat in the room for 48 hours at 18 to 21°C before installation, or 72 hours if they have been stored in colder conditions. For a strong and efficient installation, the tiles can also be dry laid before the adhesive is applied. Underfloor heating should be switched off for 48 hours before fitting, throughout the installation and for 48 hours afterwards.
