LPD Doors Oak Mexicano Bi fold Internal Door

Add a touch of timeless style and practicality to your home with the Oak Mexicano Bi-Fold Internal Door. This door is part of the popular Mexicano range, featuring a contemporary vertical panelled design created using precise square-cut grooves. The folding functionality makes it ideal for areas where space is limited—such as en-suite bathrooms, wardrobes, or utility rooms—offering a sleek alternative to traditional hinged doors. For a coordinated interior, this design works naturally with Internal Doors, while Internal Wooden Doors provide additional timber-inspired options for the wider scheme. The door is constructed with a solid engineered core, which adds strength, durability, and weight for a high-quality feel. Whether you're giving a single room a stylish upgrade or installing multiple throughout your home, this bi-fold door brings both elegance and space-saving functionality.

Flexible Installation and Sustainable Design

The Oak Mexicano Bi-Fold door is available in both unfinished oak and pre-finished oak, giving you the option to personalise it with your own choice of stain or varnish—or choose the ready-to-hang version for quicker installation. Each door is also trimmable, allowing you to fine-tune the fit to suit your door frame or opening. Crafted using environmentally friendly timber, the door not only enhances your interior but does so with sustainability in mind. It's a practical choice for modern homeowners who value style, flexibility, and eco-conscious design.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the Oak Mexicano Bi-Fold Door be trimmed to fit?

Yes, one of the key benefits of this door is its trimmability. You can make adjustments during installation to ensure a snug and proper fit, especially useful for older or irregular door frames.

What is the difference between the unfinished and pre-finished options?

The **unfinished oak** version allows you to apply your own finish, stain, or varnish, letting you customise it to match your interior. The **pre-finished** option comes factory-treated with a durable finish, so it’s ready to install straight away—perfect for quicker renovations.

Is this door suitable for all types of rooms?

Absolutely. The Oak Mexicano Bi-Fold is ideal for internal use in bedrooms, closets, bathrooms, or utility rooms—especially where space is at a premium. However, it is not suitable for external use or environments with excessive moisture, like wet rooms.

Roof Tiles & Fittings:

We recommend ordering an additional 10% of roof tiles to allow for any breakages that may occur during delivery or handling. Roof tiles are naturally fragile, and having a few extra on site helps prevent delays and ensures your roofing project can be completed without interruption.
