JB Kind Ledged & Braced Boarded External Door

JB Kind Ledged & Braced Boarded External Door

The JB Kind Ledged & Braced Boarded External Door is a practical and traditional choice for garden gates, sheds and other suitable external applications. Made from solid untreated softwood, this boarded door features a classic ledged and braced construction that provides a simple, functional appearance. Its natural timber finish allows you to customise the look with your preferred paint or protective treatment, making it easy to coordinate with your outdoor space.

Traditional Ledged and Braced Design

Designed with vertical timber boards supported by horizontal ledges and diagonal braces, the JB Kind Ledged & Braced Boarded External Door offers a traditional style suited to sheds, garden buildings and gates. The braces are fixed in place with staples in an arrowhead formation, allowing the door to be hung to either hand. This flexible design makes it a convenient option for different installation requirements.

Unfinished Pine and Surface Preparation

The JB Kind Ledged & Braced Boarded External Door is supplied unfinished, using solid untreated softwood that requires appropriate sealing and painting before exposure to outdoor conditions. Staple holes will need to be filled before decorating to achieve a neater finish. You can choose a suitable exterior paint or protective coating to complement your garden building while helping protect the timber from moisture and weathering.

Roof Tiles & Fittings:

We recommend ordering an additional 10% of roof tiles to allow for any breakages that may occur during delivery or handling. Roof tiles are naturally fragile, and having a few extra on site helps prevent delays and ensures your roofing project can be completed without interruption.

If you're ordering multiple products from the same supplier, your order will be dispatched together once all items are ready. This means the longest lead time will apply.

If you need part of your order sooner, please call us on 01202 113233. We can arrange a split delivery, although an additional shipping charge will apply.
