Forterra Belgravia Gault Blend Facing Brick Pack of 495

The Belgravia Gault Blend brick from Forterra’s Ecostock range delivers a striking buff / beige tone with soft colour variation, ideal for both traditional and contemporary facades. Its blend of tones gives walls warmth and subtle depth, helping them stand out without overpowering surrounding elements. You’ll often see this used in feature walls, elevations, or extensions where a lighter masonry appearance is desired. Manufactured using soft-mud clay and offered in stock thrown texture, Belgravia Gault Blend presents a gently tactile, handcrafted look that retains clean lines and consistency. The thrown finish provides just enough relief to catch shadows and highlight the natural colour blend, while still remaining easy to work with. Forterra also offers this brick in stock pressed and waterstruck finishes, giving flexibility in texture depending on your design goals. Performance-wise, this brick is engineered for longevity. It has an F2 durability rating, meaning it’s suitable for exposed external walls and is resistant to cycle freeze-thaw damage. With a water absorption rating of up to 13 %, when combined with proper cavity, mortar, damp proofing, and flashing, it offers reliable moisture protection over many years.

Does the 13 % water absorption present risks of damp or moisture ingress?

A water absorption of **? 13 %** is standard for facing bricks. Moisture performance depends more on correct installation — cavity width, weep holes, flashing, and mortar selection matter more than just absorption. If installed properly, this brick offers long-term resistance to damp.
