Forest Rushock 5.0m x 4.0m Log Cabin – Apex Roof, Double Glazed with Polyester Felt
The Forest Rushock 5.0m x 4.0m Log Cabin combines traditional styling with premium craftsmanship to create a spacious and highly versatile garden building. Featuring a classic reverse apex roof and approximately 17.5m² (188ft²) of internal floor space, it offers the ideal environment for a home office, garden lounge, hobby room, gym, workshop, or additional living area.
The traditional apex roof provides increased headroom through the centre of the cabin, giving the interior a more open and spacious feel while maintaining timeless garden appeal.
Spacious Design for Work or Leisure
The Rushock has been designed to create a bright, welcoming interior thanks to its glazed double doors, two large front windows, and two full-height side windows. This generous glazing allows natural daylight to flood the cabin, making it a comfortable space to use throughout the day.
With internal floor dimensions of approximately 4.7m x 3.7m, there's ample room for a wide variety of layouts, including:
- Large home office.
- Office and lounge combination.
- Garden gym.
- Games or entertainment room.
- Hobby or craft studio.
- Additional family living or dining space.
The reverse apex roof also increases the internal ceiling height, providing a greater sense of space and making the cabin feel even more open.
Premium Timber Construction
Manufactured from slow-grown Nordic Spruce, the Rushock features robust 45mm interlocking log walls that provide outstanding strength, stability and natural insulation.
Both the roof and floor are constructed from heavy-duty 19mm tongue and groove boards, creating a durable structure designed for many years of use.
All glazing is double glazed toughened safety glass, while the four opening windows feature practical tilt and turn mechanisms that allow you to enjoy either secure ventilation or fully opening windows.
The glazed double entrance doors are fitted with a secure mortise locking system, helping keep your garden room safe and secure.
Durable Polyester Felt Roof
This version of the Rushock is supplied with 24kg polyester felt without underlay. The polyester-reinforced felt offers significantly greater tear resistance than traditional mineral felt and, when installed correctly, provides an expected lifespan of up to 15 years.
For even greater weather protection and durability, Forest also offers upgraded roofing options that include black sand felt underlay or 34kg polyester felt.
The cabin is supplied untreated and kiln dried, allowing you to apply your preferred timber preservative or decorative finish after installation. Forest recommends applying a suitable solvent-based timber preservative immediately after assembly.
All deliveries are made using a crane off-load vehicle, and optional professional installation is available. The cabin should always be erected on a solid, level base, such as poured concrete.
