The U8 glazing construction consists of 4H-12-4HT-12-4HT-12-4HT, providing high levels of thermal insulation. With an acoustic rating of 36dB (-2.-5), the window also helps reduce external noise for a more peaceful indoor environment.

Thermo Flashing and Insulation Kit Included

This roof window is supplied with Thermo flashing and a set of insulating collars, helping to improve the connection between the window and the roof system. The included XDP breather membrane collar and insulation help provide insulation around the window, while the XDS airtight flashing creates an internal barrier against warm and humid air. It also helps form a barrier between the internal window reveal and the plasterboard.

Secure and Durable Construction

The window features FAKRO topSafe security and safety technology, including reinforced hinges, a secure keep and a steel slat on the lower sash. These features provide at least Class III safety in accordance with EN13049 standards. The natural pine frame is coated with one layer of primer and two layers of polyurethane finish, creating a durable white surface. The bottom-positioned handle includes two micro-opening positions, offering convenient control over ventilation. Suitable for roof pitches between 15° and 70°, the FTT/U U8 provides flexibility for a variety of roof designs and installation requirements.
