The Deanta Sparta Mortice Kit combines distinctive door furniture with essential locking components to create a stylish, coordinated finish for your Internal Door. What’s Included in the Kit?

This kit brings together the key hardware components needed for a suitable internal door installation. Each pack includes:

• 2 Sparta handles in the selected finish
• 3 stainless steel hinges manufactured to BS EN 1935
• 1 three-lever mortice sash lock in satin nickel, measuring 2.5 inches (63.5mm), with a square 150 × 21mm faceplate
• 1 pair of round escutcheons in the selected finish, measuring 50mm in diameter

The mortice sash lock provides a key-operated locking function, while the matching escutcheons create a neat finish around the keyhole. Together, these components offer a practical hardware solution for Internal Door where controlled access is required.

The Deanta Sparta Mortice Kit is available in five finishes, with two hinge-size options. This gives you ten finish-and-hinge combinations to choose from. The available finishes are:

Each finish is available with either of the following hinge options:

• 102 × 76 × 3mm hinges: Supplied with FD30 fire-rated hinges. Available in Dark Rose Gold, Matt Antique Brass, Matt Black, Matt Satin Black Nickel and Satin Nickel.
• 76 × 50 × 2mm hinges: Supplied with non-fire-rated hinges. Available in Dark Rose Gold, Matt Antique Brass, Matt Black, Matt Satin Black Nickel and Satin Nickel.

Both options include the same satin nickel mortice sash lock and the matching handles and escutcheons in the selected finish. Check the chosen variant before ordering to ensure the finish and hinge dimensions meet your requirements.

Fire Rating and Installation Guidance

The 102 × 76 × 3mm hinge option is specified as FD30 fire-rated, while the 76 × 50 × 2mm option is non-fire-rated. For packs supplied with the larger hinges, additional intumescent protection may be required for certain hardware items. If you intend to fit this kit to a fire door, check the relevant fire certification and the manufacturer's installation instructions to confirm that all components are suitable for the complete door assembly. Fire-rated hinges alone do not establish the fire rating of the entire door.
