Castle Composites Striated Promenade Slabs are designed for paving flat roofs, balconies, terraces and walkways where a lightweight, low-threshold paving solution is required. Their 297 x 297 x 20 mm format provides a practical option for projects where keeping the finished level and overall weight under control is important. The Striated finish combines a distinctive textured surface with the durability and strength associated with Castle Composites promenade paving. Often described as having a bark-like appearance, the textured finish adds character while providing a practical surface for outdoor applications.

Durable and Slip-Resistant Finish

The Striated design offers an attractive textured surface with a wet slip resistance rating of 52, classified as having a low potential for slip. The slabs have been tested using the BS EN 1339 Pendulum Test and have a Class A1 fire rating. A specially designed edge detail also helps minimise unsightly steps between adjoining slabs when they are laid over a substrate with minor unevenness, helping create a cleaner overall finish.

Easy Bonded Installation

The Striated Promenade range is designed to be bonded to the substrate using Castle Composites' specially formulated PU Adhesive. This provides a practical fixing method for suitable flat roof, balcony, terrace and walkway applications. For the correct laying procedure, installers should follow the manufacturer's installation guidance and recommended adhesive application method.
