Castle Composites Castleflex Rubber Promenade Tiles
Eco-Friendly Recycled Rubber Paving
Castle Composites Castleflex Rubber Promenade Tiles are manufactured from recycled SBR rubber, providing a durable and more environmentally conscious paving solution for balconies, flat roofs, walkways and a variety of other applications. Their resilient rubber construction makes them well suited to areas where a hard-wearing and practical surface is required.
Each tile measures 500 x 500 x 30 mm and is designed with interlocking pins to make installation straightforward. When the tiles are laid in a brick bond formation and connected using the pins, they create a large, stable mat. This can significantly reduce the amount of adhesive required, as fixing is generally only needed around the outer edges where an upstand is not present.
This approach also means the paving can be more easily lifted when access to or inspection of the surface underneath is required.
Effective Drainage
Castleflex tiles feature drainage channels on the underside, creating pathways for water to move beneath the paving. Their porous rubber construction also allows water to pass through the tiles, helping provide effective drainage across flat roofs and similar surfaces.
With a porosity rating of 565 mm per hour in accordance with EN 12616, the tiles are designed to support efficient water movement while providing a stable paved surface.

Slip Resistance and Performance
