The Detail Strip works alongside Coroshingle lightweight shingle strip tiles, which feature a simple interlocking system for quick and straightforward installation. Installation at the Eaves and Verge

To install the Detail Strip at the eaves, unroll it and form approximately a 50mm eaves drip edge before securing it to the roof deck at 150mm centres. The strip can either be dressed into the gutter or fixed into the fascia board at 50mm centres. At the verge, the Detail Strip can be dressed into position and secured to the roof deck at 150mm centres, with additional fixing at 50mm centres to the face of the verge. Following the recommended fixing details helps create a secure and neatly finished roof edge.

Installation at the Ridge

Once the Coroshingle roof shingles have been installed and trimmed to the ridge line, unroll the Detail Strip and position it centrally over the roof ridge. Apply a thin bead of bituminous sealant adhesive approximately 25mm from the edge of the strip, then secure it using 20mm galvanised clout nails.
