The
Shire Overlap 6x4ft Single Door Reverse Apex Wooden Shed is a compact and practical storage solution, ideal for smaller gardens or tight spaces. The reverse apex roof design offers a unique look and positions the single door on the side of the shed, making it easier to place against walls or fences without losing accessibility.
Built from 6mm thick rough sawn timber boards, the traditional overlap cladding gives the shed a rustic charm while also helping rainwater to run off effectively. The cladding is fixed onto a robust 34mm square framework for stability and long-lasting durability.
As with all sheds in the Shire Overlap range, this model is
made in the UK using slow-grown, high-quality timber that is machined in our own mill for a precise fit and strong construction. The shed comes with a dipped basecoat for initial protection, ready for you to apply your chosen preservative after assembly. It features an 8mm OSB roof and an 11mm OSB floor for a sturdy base, making it ideal for storing tools, garden equipment, and other essentials.
This model includes fixed windows with durable plastic glazing to allow natural light inside, making it easier to find your items even on cloudy days.

FAQs
What is a reverse apex shed and why choose it?
A reverse apex shed has the door positioned on the longer side rather than the gable end. This design can be more practical in certain garden layouts, especially when space is limited along the front.
Does the shed come with windows?
Yes. This model includes fixed windows with plastic glazing, allowing natural light inside while maintaining durability and low maintenance.
Is the shed treated before delivery?
Yes. The panels are supplied with a dipped basecoat for initial protection. For long-term durability, we recommend applying a high-quality wood preservative once the shed is assembled.
