Mira Excel Exposed Valve Only Mixer Shower
The Mira Excel Exposed Valve Only Mixer Shower combines reliable performance with advanced thermostatic safety, making it a dependable choice for family bathrooms. This version is supplied as the valve only, with no shower fittings included, allowing it to be paired with your preferred compatible showerhead and accessories.
Safe and Precise Temperature Control
The Mira Excel features thermostatic temperature control to help maintain a comfortable and consistent shower temperature. Separate temperature and flow controls make it easy to adjust the shower to your preferred settings, while the numbered temperature dial allows you to select a setting and leave it there for convenient everyday use.
For additional safety, the shower has a factory-set maximum temperature of 46°C with an override button. The maximum temperature can also be adjusted on site to suit individual installation conditions. Thermostatic shutdown operates within 2 seconds, providing an additional layer of protection during use.
Powerful Performance at Low Pressure
Mira Magni-flo™ technology is designed to deliver up to three times more flow, even when water pressure is low. The Mira Excel is suitable for all water systems and pressures, making it a versatile choice for a variety of bathroom installations.
The shower can operate with a minimum maintained pressure of 0.1 bar (1 metre head), with a maximum maintained pressure of 5.0 bar (50 metre head) and maximum static pressure of 10.0 bar (100 metre head).
Easy Flow Adjustment
Separate flow and temperature controls provide straightforward adjustment, helping users create a comfortable showering experience. The ceramic flow control is designed to resist limescale, supporting smooth operation and dependable performance over time.
Flexible Installation
The Mira Excel Exposed Valve Only Mixer Shower is designed to offer flexibility during installation. Water entry points can be configured for rising, falling or rear entry, while adjustable pipe centres of 150–155mm make fitting easier.
The 15mm compression inlet connections and ½" BSP male flat-face outlet connection provide practical connection options. Reversed inlet supplies are supported, making the valve particularly useful when replacing an existing mixer shower with reversed hot and cold pipework.
Easy Maintenance
Long-life filters help protect the valve from debris within the water supply, while the replaceable cartridge makes future maintenance and servicing more straightforward. These features help support reliable operation over the long term.
Valve-Only Configuration
This product is supplied as the Mira Excel exposed valve only. Shower fittings such as the showerhead, hose, shower arm or handset are not included, giving you the flexibility to select compatible fittings separately to suit your bathroom requirements.
