Mira Excel Exposed Mixer Shower
The Mira Excel Exposed Mixer Shower is designed to deliver reliable, safe and enjoyable showering for the whole family. Combining robust performance with thermostatic temperature control, it provides excellent water flow even at low pressure, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of bathroom systems.
Safe and Precise Temperature Control
The Mira Excel features thermostatic temperature control to help maintain a comfortable and consistent shower temperature. The numbered temperature dial allows you to select your preferred setting and leave it there, making everyday showering simple and convenient.
For additional safety, the shower has a factory-set maximum temperature of 46°C with an override button, helping reduce the risk of excessively hot water. Thermostatic shutdown operates within 2 seconds, providing further protection for users.
The maximum temperature can also be adjusted on site to suit individual installation conditions.
Powerful Performance at Low Pressure
Mira Magni-flo™ technology is designed to provide up to three times more flow, even when water pressure is low. The Mira Excel is suitable for all water systems and pressures, making it a practical option for different types of installations.
Easy Flow Control
Separate temperature and flow controls make it simple to fine-tune the shower to your preferred settings. The ceramic flow control is designed to resist limescale, helping maintain smooth operation and reliable performance over time.
Four-Spray Showerhead
The Mira Excel is supplied with a 9cm four-spray showerhead, giving you a choice of spray patterns for a more personalised showering experience. Rub-clean nozzles make removing limescale and everyday deposits easy, helping keep the showerhead clean and performing effectively.
Flexible Installation
The Mira Excel is designed to make installation straightforward and flexible. Water entry can be configured for rising, falling or rear connections, while the 15mm compression inlets and adjustable pipe centres of 150–155mm make fitting easier.
The shower can also be quickly fitted to reversed inlet supplies, providing additional flexibility when replacing an existing mixer shower.
The outlet connection is a ½" BSP male flat-face connection. The shower supports a wide range of water pressures, with a minimum maintained pressure of 0.1 bar (1 metre head), maximum maintained pressure of 5.0 bar (50 metre head) and maximum static pressure of 10.0 bar (100 metre head).
Easy to Maintain
Long-life filters help protect the shower and reduce the impact of debris entering the system, while the replaceable cartridge makes future servicing more straightforward. These features help make the Mira Excel a dependable choice for long-term everyday use.
