With an F2 durability classification, the brick resists frost under normal UK external exposure. The 9% water absorption is moderate and typical for quality facing bricks — good detailing (such as proper cavity design, flashing, drainage, and suitable mortar) will support long-term performance.
To reduce the chance of visible banding, always mix bricks from several packs during installation. Requesting a sample or detailed images before placing large orders is also recommended to verify the tone and texture match your expectations.
