The Fakro PTP-V P5 Z-Wave Electric Triple Glazed PVC Centre Pivot Pitched Roof Window brings smart, effortless control to your loft or attic space. Finished in durable white u-PVC internally with an anthracite RAL7002 aluminium exterior, this window combines sleek looks with genuine performance. The centre pivot sash rotates a full 180°, making it simple to clean the outer pane or fit an awning blind, and a sash blocking bolt keeps everything secure while you do it.

Smart Electric Control

This window is built around Fakro's Z-Wave Electric system, a wireless radio protocol that lets you open, close and control the window remotely using the included wall-mounted remote control, complete with a wall bracket attachment. A built-in rain sensor automatically shuts the sash the moment rainfall is detected, so you never have to worry about leaving a window open when the weather turns. For manual cleaning access, simply turn the handle 90° to disconnect the actuator chain, allowing the sash to rotate freely through 180°. The window is ready to wire directly into a 230V supply or a standard 13amp plug, and pre-fitted contacts on the frame make adding electrical accessories straightforward (internal and external accessories sold separately).

Triple Glazing and Thermal Performance

Glazed from outside to inside with 4mm toughened glass featuring an easy-maintenance coating, a 10mm krypton-filled TGI spacer, a 4mm low-emission toughened centre pane, an 8mm krypton-filled spacer, and a 6.8mm anti-burglary laminated inner pane (class P2A, EN 356 1(B)1, EN 12600), this build delivers excellent thermal and acoustic results. Expect an installed U-value of around 1.1W/m²K (glass U-value 0.5W/m²K, window U-value 0.97W/m²K) and an acoustic rating of 35-36dB, keeping your room warm, quiet and comfortable.

Fitted with P5 anti-burglary triple glazing and Fakro's reinforced topSafe system, this window meets Class III safety standards under EN13049, giving genuine peace of mind. The automatic V40P/V35 air inlet provides efficient background ventilation while preventing draughty gusts, making the window well suited to rooms with sustained higher humidity, such as bathrooms and laundry rooms.
