EVERBUILD EVERFLEX 565 Clean Room Silicone

EVERBUILD® EVERFLEX® 565 Clean Room Silicone is a specialist, high-performance sealant designed for use in hygiene-critical and sterile environments. It provides a durable, long-lasting seal with excellent resistance to mould, bacteria, and harsh cleaning agents, making it ideal for clean rooms and sensitive working areas.

Usage

EVERFLEX® 565 is suitable for use in food preparation areas, refrigeration units, and sanitary applications where hygiene and cleanliness are essential. It is also widely used in medical and sterile environments, including hospitals, pharmaceutical facilities, laboratories, and clean room installations. The sealant can be used for internal and external perimeter pointing around uPVC, timber, and powder-coated window frames. Additional applications include weather sealing and joint sealing to pre-formed panels, curtain walling, draughtproofing, and parapet and roof sealing.

Advantages

This clean room silicone offers outstanding long-term protection against mould and bacteria, with resistance tested for up to 10 years under simulated internal aging conditions. Mould resistance has been tested in accordance with AATCC 30 Part 3, while bacterial resistance has been verified to ISO 22196 standards. EVERFLEX® 565 features excellent tooling characteristics and slow skinning, making it ideal for industrial and large-scale applications. Its high-viscosity, non-slump formulation ensures precise application, while strong adhesion to glass, metal, plastics, wood (painted and unpainted), uPVC, and polycarbonate ensures a reliable seal. The product also delivers excellent external weathering performance, resists fumed hydrogen peroxide and formaldehyde, and has shrinkage of less than 5% in accordance with ISO 10563.
