The 305 x 1407.8mm boards are supplied as A and B pieces that lock together to create the characteristic chevron pattern. Each board can have subtle differences in shade and natural-looking markings, helping to create a floor with its own individual character. For the best visual effect, Luvanto recommends laying the chevron pattern pointing away from the main window, which can help create a greater sense of space within the room.

Choice of Oak and Wood Effect Finishes

The Premium Click Plus Chevron collection is available in three distinctive finishes: Summer Oak, Warm Conker and Rosewood. Summer Oak offers a light, limed appearance for a bright and contemporary feel, while Warm Conker provides a deeper reddish-brown tone for a richer look. Rosewood delivers a pale silvery finish that works well with modern and neutral interiors.

Extra-Thick and Durable Construction

At 8mm thick overall, this is the thickest floor in the Luvanto range. Each board features a rigid SPC core containing 50% stone content, providing a robust construction for everyday use. The deep embossed grain adds realistic texture to the surface, while the micro-bevelled edges help define the individual boards within the finished chevron pattern.

The 0.55mm wear layer and PU surface finish provide a durable surface designed for busy interiors. An integrated 1mm IXPE underlay is also attached to the underside, providing an 18dB impact sound reduction and helping to improve comfort underfoot.

Waterproof and Practical

Premium Click Plus Chevron flooring is 100% waterproof, making it a practical choice for a wide range of interior spaces. It also has an R10 slip rating and Bfl-s1 fire rating, while its Class 23 heavy domestic and Class 34 heavy commercial ratings make it suitable for demanding everyday environments.

Floating Click Installation

The A and B boards are designed to lock together to create the chevron pattern without the need for adhesive. The integrated 1mm IXPE underlay means that a separate underlay is not required, helping to simplify the installation process.

As with any floating flooring system, the subfloor should be properly prepared before installation and the appropriate expansion gaps should be maintained. Taking care with the initial layout is particularly important with a chevron pattern to achieve a balanced and consistent finished design.
