Durable and Waterproof LVT

This flooring is designed to handle everyday use, featuring a 0.55mm wear layer and PU surface treatment. It is rated Class 23 for heavy domestic use and Class 33 for heavy commercial use, making it suitable for busy residential and commercial environments.

The flooring is also 100% waterproof, providing a practical alternative to traditional timber flooring. It has an R10 slip resistance rating, Bfl-S1 fire rating and A+ VOC emission rating, while its 4dB sound reduction can help provide a more comfortable indoor environment.

Suitable for Underfloor Heating

Luvanto Premium Design Chevron flooring is suitable for use with underfloor heating systems up to a maximum surface temperature of 27°C. Its thermal resistance of 0.0112 m²K/W makes it suitable for compatible underfloor heating installations when fitted correctly.

Professional Glue-Down Installation

Premium Design Chevron is a glue-down dryback floor and should be professionally fitted to BS8203 using Luvanto Universal or High Temperature Adhesive. The subfloor must be smooth, clean and dry, with a relative humidity below 75% RH. It should also be flat to within 3mm over a 2m span. Primer and smoothing compound will generally be required, while timber floors should be overlaid with plywood before installation.

Before installation, unpack the flooring and stack it flat in the room for at least 48 hours at 18–21°C. If the flooring has been stored somewhere cold, allow 72 hours for acclimatisation. Underfloor heating should be switched off for 48 hours before fitting, during installation and for 48 hours afterwards.

Chevron flooring requires particularly careful setting out because the angled points need to line up accurately to create the continuous zigzag effect. For the best results, installation should be carried out by an experienced professional who can plan the layout before the adhesive is applied.
