The Basketweave/Shaker design brings together traditional parquet styling and the practical benefits of modern luxury vinyl flooring. Each 600 x 600mm tile features an embossed grain and bevelled edges, giving the surface added texture and definition for a convincing wood-inspired appearance.

Durable and Waterproof LVT

Made from 2.5mm dryback LVT, the flooring is designed for everyday use while retaining its decorative parquet appearance. A 0.55mm wear layer and PU surface treatment provide durability, while the 100% waterproof construction makes it a practical alternative to traditional timber parquet.

The flooring is rated Class 23 for heavy domestic use and Class 33 for heavy commercial use, so it can be used in busy residential and commercial environments. It also has an R10 slip resistance rating, Bfl-S1 fire rating and A+ VOC emission rating, with 4dB sound reduction for added comfort.

Suitable for Underfloor Heating

This Luvanto Premium Design Basketweave flooring is suitable for use with underfloor heating systems up to a maximum surface temperature of 27°C. Its thermal resistance is 0.0112 m²K/W, making it suitable for compatible underfloor heating installations when fitted correctly.

Professional Glue-Down Installation

Premium Design Basketweave is a glue-down dryback floor and should be professionally installed to BS8203 using Luvanto Universal or High Temperature Adhesive. The subfloor needs to be smooth, clean and dry, with a relative humidity below 75% RH. It should also be flat to within 3mm over a 2m span. Primer and smoothing compound will generally be required, while timber floors should be overlaid with plywood before installation.

Before fitting, unpack the tiles and stack them flat in the installation room for at least 48 hours at 18–21°C. If they have been stored somewhere cold, allow 72 hours for acclimatisation. Underfloor heating should be switched off for 48 hours before installation, during fitting and for 48 hours afterwards.
