Designed to recreate the look of a traditional framed parquet floor, each 600 x 600mm tile features crossing oak-inspired strips set neatly within a border. Because the complete Shaker pattern is incorporated into each tile, installation can be more straightforward and quicker than laying individual parquet blocks. The larger tile format helps create a consistent, striking floor while reducing the amount of individual pieces that need to be positioned during fitting.

Traditional Shaker Parquet Design

Each tile combines the timeless appearance of parquet with the practical benefits of modern luxury vinyl flooring. The embossed grain adds realistic texture to the surface, while the bevelled edges help define the individual sections of the pattern and enhance its overall depth.

Durable and Waterproof LVT Flooring

Built for everyday use, the flooring features a 0.55mm wear layer with a PU surface treatment. It is rated Class 23 for heavy domestic use and Class 33 for heavy commercial use, making it suitable for busy residential spaces as well as commercial environments.

The flooring is 100% waterproof, offering a practical advantage over traditional timber parquet. It also provides R10 slip resistance, a Bfl-S1 fire rating and an A+ VOC emission rating. A sound reduction rating of 4dB can also help contribute to a more comfortable indoor environment.

Suitable for Underfloor Heating

This Luvanto Shaker flooring is suitable for use with underfloor heating systems up to a maximum surface temperature of 27°C. Its thermal resistance of 0.0112 m²K/W makes it suitable for compatible underfloor heating installations when fitted according to the manufacturer's requirements.

Professional Glue-Down Installation

Premium Design Shaker is a glue-down dryback floor and should be professionally installed to BS8203 using Luvanto Universal or High Temperature Adhesive. The subfloor needs to be smooth, clean and dry, with a relative humidity below 75% RH. It should also be flat to within 3mm over a 2m span. A primer and smoothing compound will generally be required, while timber floors should be overlaid with plywood before installation.

Before fitting, unpack the flooring and stack it flat in the installation room for at least 48 hours at 18–21°C. If the flooring has been stored somewhere cold, allow 72 hours for acclimatisation. Underfloor heating should be switched off for 48 hours before fitting, during installation and for 48 hours afterwards.
